Major milestone reached for BW Pioneer

BW Pioneer entered the US EEZ (Exclusive Economic Zone) on Saturday 27 March at 3.47 pm.

For the first time ever a FPSO has entered US waters – BW Pioneer  arrived anchorage area in the US GoM, and was securely anchored, at 1pm on Sunday 28 March, at Block GI 71 (Grand Isle 71). One tugboat was connected in accordance with DNV requirements.

BW Pioneer has sailed a total distance from Singapore of 12977 nautical miles, and the total time sailed is 1215,5 hours. The average speed has been 10,68 knots.
