BW Offshore awarded technology contract

(Bermuda, 3 November 2009): APL, a division of BW Offshore, has
signed a contract for the supply of two Single Anchor Loading (SAL)
systems with an undisclosed client.

The SAL system is developed by APL and consists of a single anchor on
the seabed with flexible riser and mooring equipment for transfer of
oil to shuttle tankers. Once the tanker is connected to the SAL
system it can freely weather wane around the SAL anchor base while
loading oil.

The delivery of the systems is scheduled in the first half of 2011.
