Jon Myran, EVP Fleet Operations 

Jon Myran, born 1951, is Executive Vice President Fleet Operations. He is responsible for Fleet Operations including all units, local operation offices and operation’s support staffs in Singapore and Oslo.

Myran came to BW Offshore from the position as Peregrino Operation Manager for Statoil. He has more than 28 years of experience from Norsk Hydro / Statoil whereof 12 years within Operations including seven years offshore as Offshore Installation Manager at Troll B and Troll C. 
Myran also has broad experience from projects and technology management. The last four years before joining BW Offshore he was located in Houston.

He has a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Norwegian Institute of Technology (NTNU) and various courses in leadership.
